Coffee morning for Sightsavers International:

There will be a Coffee Morning on Thursday 12^th of October in the home of Margaret Flannery from 10.30am to 1.00pm, in aid of Sightsavers International Charity.

This charity helps to combat River Blindness in children and adults in the developing world. Globally, 37million people are infected by River Blindness which is an infectious disease caused by blackfly that live by fast flowing rivers. This infection can be treated with a single tablet, taken once or twice a year for 10 – 15 years and costs 8 Cent per person to distribute.
