Milltown TT clean up

Milltown Tidy Towns Excelled yet again: Congratulations to Milltown Tidy Towns on their fantastic results again this year.

They received another Silver Medal Award and received 5 points higher than last year. Thanks to all who did weeding, power-hosing, painting, sowing, tidying, clipping, sweeping, or helped in anyway to keep Milltown looking superb.

A special thanks to the Milltown CE Scheme and the RSS Scheme for their fantastic work. Not forgetting both the teachers and pupils of The Belmont and Milltown National Schools, who participated so well in keeping the whole area looking clean and tidy.

Special mention to Sean Nestor who received “The Local Hero Award”. Fantastic achievement Sean, as there was only ten of these awards in the country.

If anyone would like a copy of the “2017 Milltown Tidy Town Results”, please give Tina a ring at Milltown Community Centre: Tel. 093-51876. There is a copy of the results hanging on the wall in the Milltown Church Porch.

Or you can simply read it here at Tidy Towns report 2017

Please continue to keep up the good work
