COURSE 1 – Movement for Sport Performance
Overview: “If we can coach athletes or team players to run more efficiently or to run better, it becomes easier for them to develop the skill of running faster”. This course looks at developing the motor skills and physical literacy of athletes and players of all ages to ensure the players develop the building blocks to sprint faster and more efficiently.
This course was originally known as the SAQ Foundation course and is suitable to coaches, parents and mentors working with athletes or players at juvenile, teenage and adult grades.

Food Heritage Project: Milltown Heritage Group in conjunction with Galway County Council need your help to gather information in relation to our local food heritage.

You may have stories of special occasions/ stations or simply a plate or utensil which has a special family connection.

Please share your favourite recipes with us. Perhaps you have a picture of a wedding breakfast/an old till receipt/menus/farming or fishing activity./celebrations/events etc?
